Job Description
  • Undertake structured assignments across Branches, Divisions and Departments of Shimanto Bank PLC to gain broad-based exposure to the Bank’s operations, business priorities and service standards.
  • Support day-to-day banking operations, customer service delivery, transaction processing and effective resolution of customer queries with professionalism and accountability.
  • Develop a strong understanding of banking processes, regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk-conscious decision-making through practical workplace exposure.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support administrative, operational and service delivery processes across relevant functional areas.
  • Demonstrate analytical ability, sound judgement and problem-solving skills while handling assigned tasks and supporting branch or departmental objectives.
  • Show initiative, adaptability and ownership in assigned responsibilities, with the potential to take on greater responsibilities in future roles.
  • Actively contribute to a customer-focused, compliant and digitally enabled banking environment by encouraging customers to adopt digital banking solutions.
Educational & Qualification Requirements

  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 out of 5.00 in SSC/O-Level/Equivalent and HSC/A-Level/Equivalent examinations.
  • Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 in Graduation or Post-Graduation from a recognised institution.
  • Applicants age will not over 32 years of age as on 30th June 2026.
  • Local academic qualifications must be obtained from a university approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh.
  • For any foreign degree, the grade or result must be equivalent to the above-mentioned academic requirements as per the standard of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh.
